StrumForge
Terms of Use
These Terms of Use apply to the StrumForge website and native apps. By using StrumForge, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.
Use of StrumForge
StrumForge is provided as a guitar practice, songwriting, and chord progression tool. You are responsible for how you use generated progressions, audio playback, diagrams, exported images, and other app output.
Premium Access
StrumForge may offer optional premium access through auto-renewable subscriptions in the native apps and website. Premium access unlocks features shown in the app at the time of purchase, such as unlimited chord progression generation, favorites, folders where available, sharing, tuner, dark mode, default settings, and scale-diagram tools. Product availability, feature names, and included features may change over time.
Subscriptions
Subscription purchases are processed by the App Store, Google Play, Stripe, and RevenueCat where supported. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged through your Apple account, Google account, or web checkout account. Renewal terms, trial eligibility, pricing, taxes, and cancellation rules are controlled by the store or payment provider where you purchased.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your App Store or Google Play account settings. When available, StrumForge may also provide a Customer Center link for subscription management, restore purchases, and support.
Restore Purchases
If premium access is not recognized on a device, use Restore Purchases in the app. Restored access depends on the store account and RevenueCat entitlement status associated with the purchase.
Accounts
StrumForge does not require a StrumForge account for free mobile app usage or local practice features. Accounts may be required for web subscriptions and may be offered for cross-platform premium access and related support workflows. Premium purchase state may be associated with an anonymous app user identifier, a StrumForge account identifier, and the store account or web checkout account used for the purchase.
Free generation limits
Free chord progression generation may be limited. Existing grandfathered users and active Premium users may retain unlimited generation. Free usage limits may be stored locally on your device or browser and may reset when local app or browser data is removed.
Acceptable Use
Do not attempt to interfere with StrumForge, bypass premium access checks, misuse store purchase flows, or reverse engineer the app except where applicable law allows it.
Disclaimers
StrumForge is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. The app may be unavailable, contain errors, or produce musical results that do not fit every use case.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StrumForge will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app or website.
Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version will remain available on this page.
